A Box, Indied - Luna Verde

Another polish of the october A Box, Indied: Polish Me To Go Luna Verde.

Luna Verde is a bright neon green that glows in the dark. It has a "sandy", kind of textured look, but doesn't feel textured. I used three coats but the formula irritated me a little. It's thick and a little gooey, what makes it pretty hard to apply evenly. Plus, it wasn't really opaque after three coats. As this was my first nightglowing polish as well as my first polish by this brand, I can't tell if it is the glowing pigment, the brand or just this single polish (or even only my personal bottle) that is a little troublesome in application.

As you know, I'm really into bright, vivid colors, but this textmarker green was too flashy even for me ;-) So I decided to hide it behind a stamping. I used MoYou Pro Collection plate 13 and Essence stamping polish in black. For a shiny finish I added one coat of OPI RapiDry topcoat.

Polishes by Polish Me To Go are available at BigCartel and at BeautySoFly. Luna Verde is exclusive to the october "A Box, Indied". The box with five polishes is available at Llarowe as a one month only box or as subscription (50$ per box).

  1. The stamping really makes the difference here. I am with you about the brightness and all but your"veil" of black makes this a perfect mani to explore Mordor ;-)

  2. Wooooooooooooot, love it! Black and green go so well together, and the glow-in-the-dark effect is really cool bonus :-) You did your stamping very neatly as well, nice.
