Yps lackiert Challenge: Spooky

With Halloween nearing, this week's prompt for the Yps lackiert Challenge was spooky.

I didn't feel to well last week (caught a cold), so my mani turned out simpler than I originally intended. As base I applied three coats of Born Pretty Store Misty Grey (Earth Tone Series), a grey leaning taupe creme.

Then I stamped on these lovely Dementors (any other Harry Potter fans here?) using black Born Pretty Store stamping polish and Mundo de Uñas Harry Potter 2 stamping plate. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top sealed the stamping.

Yps lackiert Challenge: Minimale Eleganz

It's time for the next round of Yps Lackiert with the theme minimal elegance.

This prompt came at the perfect time for me, since I recently had a business meeting where colorful nail polish wouldn't have been appropriate. So I applied three coats of P2 rich & royal, a taupe creme. Then I added a simple plaid pattern on my two accent nails using China Glaze Wood You Wanna? and ÜberChic Pretty In Plaid plate. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished the mani.

Starry Sky

Do you love starry skies as much as I do? If yes, this mani is for you.

I started with three coats of ILNP By Nightfall. ILNP call the color of this polish asphalt blue, a grey toned blue with very subtle teal undertones and scattered holo.

For the stars I used Essie Blue Rhapsody and Nicole Diary L-10 plate. As usual, I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

ILNP polishes are available on Etsy, Hypnotic Polish, Harlow & Co. and at their own shop.

When Colours Collide: orange, red & purple

Last sunday ended another round of When Colours Collide, the prompt was orange, red and purple.

These colors really scream "sunset" but we were only allowed the three colors, no black, so I couldn't do one of the sunset silhouette manis I love so much. Well, sunset leaves it is then. I started with two coats of MoYou London Pumpkin and then stamped a gradient using MoYou London Purple Mouse, red Born Pretty Store stamping polish and ÜberChic Lovely Leaves plate 3. Then I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Yps lackiert Challenge: Cut Out

The next theme for the Yps Lackiert Challenge is Cut Out.

I don't really like cut out manis, since I don't like the look of my naked nails, but well, a challenge is supposed to be a challenge. I stamped with MoYou London Ruby Red and Moyra stamping plate 11 Damask Drapery directly on my base coat. I fixed the stamping with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top and added one coat of Essence Matt Matt Matt topcoat.

Enchanted Polish

A gold mani for golden october.

As base I applied three coats of Enchanted Polish Rare Magic, a golden holo with a subtle shift to blue. In the swatch picture it looks somewhat charcoal-blue, but in the full mani pictures you can see a hint of the color shift.

For the stamping I used ÜberChic Lovely Leaves plate and Barry M. Gold Foil. As usual, I topped the mani with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Enchanted Polish are available at Pshiiit and their own shop.

Midnight Rose

After monday's monochrome, a little more color variation for today.

My base are three coats of Essence Meet Me Midnight (Midnight Masquerade LE), a rather coarse shimmer shifting from blue to purple. In the bottle, there are also some silver hues, but they're not visible on the nails.

For the stamping I used MoYou London Roxy Collection plate 04 and Kiko Mirror Collection 630 Golden Rose. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top protected the stamping.

Yps lackiert Challenge: Monochrom

Monochrome is the theme for the second round of the Yps Lackiert Challenge. If you follow my blog, then you know that I love monochromatic/ton-sur-ton stamping manis, so this was kind of a home game for me ;-)

My base is LynBDesigns Black Dragon Pearl, a grey leaning purple shimmer. I used three coats for opacity.

The cloud pattern is on the ÜberChic Far East 01 stamping plate, and as stamping polish I used a England Sleeping Palace. If you don't have this purple holo yet, you definitely need it. It looks gorgeous on it's own and as you can see, it stamps flawlessly. I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top, as usual.

LynBDesigns polishes are available at their own shop.

aEngland polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.
