Burst Burst

For today I have another polish by the no-more-existent brand Million Lacquers so show you: Burst Burst.

I started with a no name polish by ELF. This polish has a blackened navy base with subtle fleck shimmer. I used two medium coats for opacity.

Then I added one coat of Million Lacquers Burst Burst, a clear base filled with small hexes in blue, purple, pink and silver holographic. One coat of Rica Glossy Glam provided a smooth finish.

As I mentioned, Million Lacquers don't exist anymore, so sadly, there's no way to get this polish anymore.

Nightkle

One more golden oldie for today, this time by a brand that don't even exists anymore: Million Lacquers

Nightkle has tons of small holographic glitters in a sheer black base.

I layered one coat of Nightkle over black (a England Camelot). On my ring finger and thumb I stamped some stars using Barry M Silver Foil and Bundle Monster plate BM-21. One coat of Rica Glossy Glam topcoat finished this mani.

As I mentioned, Million Lacquers don't exist anymore, so sadly, there's no way to get this polish anymore.

Sandy Coins

For once, I felt like wearing a discreet mani without having to, nude polish without a business meeting (yes, even I don't always want to wear blue, green or purple...)

As base color I used Kleancolor Sandstone, a a neutral shimmer polish. As beautiful as Kleancolor polishes are, I'm not really happy with the quality. The brush is a mess, it fans out in a tousled A line which makes it very hard to polish your nails and not your cutiles, and the polish really stinks. Plus, drying time is aweful, without topcoat it takes forever and a day to dry...

On top of Sandstone I added one coat of Million Lacquers Grape Coins, a clear abse with fuchsia microglitter, small white hexes and large yellow/gold hexes. The large hexes were a little stubborn, I had to fish them out of the bottle one by one. As you can see, I have a mini bottle, maybe they come out easier of the regular sized one.

For a smooth finish I added one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.

Million Lacquers don't seem to exist anymore, I couldn't find anything about them with Google...

Green Holo Tape Mani

Today I have another tape mani to show you. It's far from perfect, but I'm still very proud of it :-)

I started with two coats of Essie Blanc, a simple white cream. Then I added the striping tape and found out that it's really really hard to stick a straight line on the nail. So the lines are a little crooked, sorry for that.

Then I added four different green holos.

On the lower left I used Nubar Reclaim, a medium green. On the upper left you see Million Lacquers Sunny Grass, a... well, a grass green ;-). On the upper right is a England Dragon, a forest green. And at the lower right is Color Club Angel Kiss, a light, blue toned green.

I finished the mani with one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.

To be honest, I don't know if Million Lacqers are still available, I coulnd't find the Etsy shop where I ordered anymore.

a England polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.
