Shimmer Me Timbers

Shimmer Me Timbers is the name of today's polish by Jindie Nails.

Shimmer Me Timbers has a very sheer green jelly base with green flakie shimmer and glitters in all colors and forms, blue, purple, brown, green, gold, black, hexes, dots, squares. I used three coats and as you can see, the jelly base is nowhere near opaque. For an opaque look, I'd recommend layering it over a creme base. Shimmer Me Timbers dried very gritty, so I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of KBShimemr Clearly On Top for a smooth finish.

Jindie Nails polishes are available at their own store, at Rainbow Connection, Norway Nails, MeiMei's Signatures, Femme Fatale and at Harlow&Co.

A History Of Violets

Today I want to show you a polish that has been waiting with my untrieds for more than a year now: Jindie Nails A History Of Violets.

My base color is Essence I Got a Crush On Blue (Love Letters Trend Edition), a slightly blue leaning light grey creme. I used three thin coats for opacity.

Then I dabbed on one coat of A History Of Violets, a clear based glitter topper filled with glitters in white, soft pink and various shades of purple in different forms, dots, stars, squares, bars, hexes and shards, plus some iridescent and holographic microglitter.

My bottle of A History Of Violets is quite gritty, almost clumpy, but I think that's because of the age, some of the clear base seems to have evaporated. I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of KBShimmer Clealry On Top to smooth out the surface.

A Box, Indied - Freaks At The Fair

For the fourth "A Box, Indied" day of this month I have Jindie Nails Freaks At The Fair to show you.

Freaks At The Fair has a mint green crelly base with lots of multicolored hexes, squares and dots, some of them holographic, plus some holographic microglitter. The bigger glitters were a little stubborn, I didn't get too many out of the bottle. Especially the big white squares refused completely. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top formed the last layer.

A Box, Indied - Kangaroo, Take Me Away

The second polish of the june "A Box, Indied" is Jindie Nails Kangaroo, Take Me Away.

Kangaroo, Take Me Away has the typical Jindie Nails white crelly base (they use this base a lot in their polishes) with a variety of glitters in various shades of blue, aqua, green, gold, copper and brown in hex, circle and square form, plus some gold flakie shimmer. I used three coats for the pictures. The formula is a little on the stringy side, but application was still easy. One coat of KBshimmer Clearly On Top Finsihed this mani.

A Box, Indied - Blue & Green's Love Child

The last polish of the april "A Box, Indied" is Blue & Green's Love Child by Jindie Nails.

Blue & Green's Love Child is a turquoise/light teal holo. At first I thought the blue side was much stronger than the green one, but then I realised it absolutely depends on the lighting, sometimes it looks blue with just a hint of green, sometimes it's clearly a blue-leaning green. I had no issues with application, two coats were enough for opacity.

Since these turquoise colors always remind me of a tropical ocean or a swimming pool, I decided to add some "bubbles" using Pueen plate 36 and aEngland Saint George. One coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer secured the stamping.
