After showing you my favorite polishes of 2015, it's time for my favorite manis / nail art posts of this year. A lot of them were manis for the Crumpet's Nail Tarts Challenges I'm following, plus some stamping manis I especially liked. If you're interested in the blogposts to the manis, just click the subtitle of the picture...

Top 10 Polishes 2015

It's the end of the year, so it's time to show you my favorite polishes of 2015! I didn't buy too many polishes this year, except the "A Box, Indied" I had a subscription for, so a lot of my favorites are from the boxes, as I only chose polishes that were released this year. The blog posts to each polish are linked.

My Christmas Nails

I hope you had a great Christmas and are well fed :-)
Here's what I'm wearing during the holidays.

For this mani I got inspired by Polished Polyglot's red and gold snowflake mani. My base colors are Colors by Llarowe As Rome Burned and Different Dimension Imperium Sine Fine, both from the August "A Box, Indied". For the snowflakes, I used Barry M. Gold Foil and Born Pretty Store plate QA58.

Colors By Llarowe are available at Llarowe and at Harlow & Co.

Different Dimension polishes can be found on Etsy and at Mei Mei's Signatures.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas: New Year

Merry Christmas to all my readers! Again, the Crumpet's nail tarts are one week early, so on Christmas Day, we're already showing our New Year's mani ;-)

I decided to go for a simple black and silver fireworks style. Over a base of P2 Eternal, I dabbed one coat of Kleancolor Grand Finale on my pinkie, index finger and thumb, a clear based glitter topper with silver holographic bar glitters. On my ring and middle finger, I stamped the fireworks using Barry M. Silver Foil and Bundle Monster plate BM-H14. One coat of Pahlish Magic Mirror Top Coat finished this mani.

Wolfsbane

Wolfsbane is the name of today's polish, and it's by Femme Fatale.

Wolfsbane has a deep blackened purple jelly base filled with navy blue and red holographic hexes (plus some red and navy microglitter). I used three coats and added one coat of Pahlish Magic Mirror Top Coat.

Femme Fatale polishes are available at their shop, Harlow & Co. , Norway Nails  and Color4Nails.

Precious Virgo

Today I want to show you a purple/pink glitter combo.

My base color is Kiko 473 Precious Amethyst (Sun Show Limited Edition), a purple polish with a slight blue/purple douchrome shimmer. I used three coats for opacity.

Then I dabbed on one coat of  Dreams Virgo, a clear based glitter topper with small pink hexes and larger silver holographic hexes. One coat of Pahlish Magic Mirror Top Coat finished this mani.

Indie Go Winter

It's still not feeling like winter here in Switzerland, but it can be on my nails, right?

I started with three coats of ILNP Indie Go. "Indie Go is a spectacular holographic polish like none other! The stunningly rich finish and added blue sparkle effect pigments really set this polish apart from other holographic polishes out there." (Source: ILNP) As usual, my camera shows this one too blue. It's not royal or navy blue, as it might look in my pictures, but more of a blurple.

The stars, snowflakes and reindeers (and of course Santa) I stamped with aEngland Encore Margot and MoYou London plate Christmas Collection 01. One coat of Pahlish Magic Mirror Top Coat finished the mani.

ILNP polishes are available on Etsy and at their own shop.

aEngland polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.
