Lucky Nirvana

It has been raining the last couple of days here in Switzerland, and nature really embraces the much needed water (I don't like the weather too much, but nature's needs are more important...). So with all the green spreading around, some green on my nails, too. 

As base I used three coats of Born Pretty Store Nirvana (Melody Life Series), a leafy green creme.





My glitter topper is Penélope Luz Lucky Fairy, a slightly green tinted base with various shades of green hexes from micro to medium, some of them holographic, plus some black tiny hexes and larger squares. I dabbed on one coat of added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt - beige

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is beige.

My beige polish is China Glaze Fast Track, a beige (duh) polish with strong golden fleck shimmer. I've already shown this one, but this was pretty much exactly four years ago (on november 16th, 2013), so I thought it was time to wear it again. I used three coats.








On top of Fast Track, I layered Penélope Luz Bastet,a topper with brown microglitters and multicolored hexes in a slightly brown tinted base. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top provided a smooth finish.

Ocean Jewel's Backstage

As you probably noticed, I'm all into fall colors like brown, red, orange and gold at the moment. But this doesn't mean I don't wear any other colors anymore :-)

My base color for this mani is Essence I'm Backstage (Beauty Beats Trend Edition), a pastel blue polish with mint undertones and a subtle shimmer. It looks a little too green in the bottle shot, the other pictures are more color accurate.

On top of I'm Backstage, I added one coat of Penélope Luz Ocean Jewel, a clear base with teal holographic hexes in four small sizes. Dabbing wasn't absolutely necessary, the glitters spread ok with wiping, but to really pack your nails with glitter, I'd recommend dabbing.

Ocean Jewel dried pretty smooth, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top topcoat for a glossy finish.
