Yps lackiert Challenge: Minimale Eleganz

It's time for the next round of Yps Lackiert with the theme minimal elegance.

This prompt came at the perfect time for me, since I recently had a business meeting where colorful nail polish wouldn't have been appropriate. So I applied three coats of P2 rich & royal, a taupe creme. Then I added a simple plaid pattern on my two accent nails using China Glaze Wood You Wanna? and ÜberChic Pretty In Plaid plate. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished the mani.

Choo-Choo Choose Gold

Since I spent the last week skiing, I've got my last snowflakes for this season to show you, before spring arrives.

I used three coats of China Glaze Choo-Choo Choose You as a base. This is one of these polishes that look completely different on the nails than it does in the bottle. In the bottle, it's a blue leaning purple with golden shimmer. On the nails, it's more of a very dark taupe with a shimmer shifting from gold to green.

I stamped with Barry M. Gold Foil and B. loves plate B.05 let it snow. As you might have guessed, I added one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Cherish the Tree

How about some color to start the week?

I used two coats of Colors By Llarowe Oh Christmas Tree (yes, I know, I'm about two months late with that one), a dark green linear holo. It looks teal in my pictures, charcoal grey in the bottle but green on my nails irl. A quite interesting color.

For the stamping, I used China Glaze Cherish and ÜberChic plate 24-01. I secured the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Colors By llarowe are available at their own storeHypnotic polish, Color4Nails, Harlow & Co and a lot of other retailers.

Cherish The Epoch

Epoch is today's polish by Cirque Colors.

Epoch is a multichrome foil polish shifting from purple over blue and aqua to green. I used three coats for opacity.

For the stamping, I used China Glaze Cherish, a light green metallic, and ÜberChic plate 15-02. I added one coat of Bundle Munster Smudge Free Top Coat for protection and one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for extra shine.

Cirque polishes are sold at their own store, at Harlow & Co., and at Mei Mei's Signatures.

Rendezvous With Destin

Two business appropriate manis in a row? That's so not me! But I had a couple of business meetings, which asked for subtle manis.

My base color is Dior Destin, a taupe shimmer. For the stamping I used China Glaze Rendezvous With You, a plum foil, and MoYou London Origami Collection plate 08. I topped the mani with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat.

Wood You Wanna Honey?

Something more business appropriate for today!

As base I applied three coats of Pahlish Slow Like Honey. On my ring and middle finger, I stamped using MoYou London Princess COllection plate 14 and China Glaze Wood You Wanna?. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Pahlish polishes are available on their own shop and at Overall Beauty.

Wood You Want A Manor House?

After monday's colorful flakies, I have something more subtle for today.

My base is ILNP Manor House, a light taupe jelly with scattered holo particles. This one is very sheer, so I applied four coats.

For the stamping, I used China Glaze Wood You Wanna?, a warm brown metallic, and ÜberChic Lovely Leaves 2 plate. As usual, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

ILNP polishes are available on Etsy, Hypnotic Polish, Harlow & Co. and at their own shop.

Frisch Lackiert Challenge: Cut Out

Cut Out is this week's prompt for the Frisch Lackiert challenge. I kept it very simple, just one polish, nail vinyls, that's it.

The polish I used is China Glaze Watermelon Rind, an emerald green foil. As usual, it's a little greener than my blue-loving camera would show. I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top as finishing step.
