Nail Crazies Unite: Fireworks

The last prompt of the Nail Crazies Unite (for this year at least) is fireworks, matching for the nearing New Year's Eve.

I started with two coats of Essence Black Is Back. For the stamping, I used Born Pretty Store Pink Planet stamping polish and MoYou London Festive Collection plate 05. I fixed the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and mattefied the mani using Picture Polish G'Day Matte.

Nail Crazies Unite: Ribbon/Bows

With Christmas coming closer in huge steps, the Nail Crazies Unite want to see ribbons ot bows for this week. The perfect time to use a gift wrap stamping pattern.

As base I used an old (ancient, really) Essence double polish set called Ticket To The Show. The base color is black with pink sparkles, three coats made it opaque. The topper, called Front Row Or Backstage? is a clear topper with lots of gold flakies amd some holo sparkles, I used it on my thumb, index and pinkie.

My gift wrap pattern is on the MoYou London Festive Collection plate 03, my stamping polish is my usual Barry M. Gold Foil. I secured the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and then added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top on all nails.

Nail Crazies Unite: Christmas/Holiday Food/Drink

Nail Crazies Unite want to see Christmas or holiday food and drink today. The typical swiss Christmas dinner is Fondue Chinoise (meat fondue), which I absolutely love (my mum makes the best sauces), but is almost impossible to show on nails. So I went with cookies. Gingerbread men aren't really a thing here, but it was the only Christmas cookie pattern I found in my huge stash of stamping plates...

I started with two coats of Born Pretty Store Aloof (Melody Life Series), an emerald green creme.

For the gingerbread men I used ÜberChic Happy Christmas plate, white and light brown Born Pretty Store stamping polish for a reverse stamping.  As you can see, I totally screwed up my ring finger, I just didn't let the stamping dry enough before applying it. But then, sometimes cookies melt together in the oven, and you still eat them, right? I secured the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Nail Crazies Unite: Trees/Fall Foliage

Trees or fall foliage are this week's theme for the Nail Crazies Unite challenge. As you might know, I really love fall foliage manis, so I didn't have to think long with this prompt.

I started with one coat of MoYou London Café Au Lait, and then dry-marbeled using MoYou London Café Au Lait, It's A Date, Sweet Custard, Autumn Harvest and Rust Red. For the stamping, I used black Born Pretty Store stamping polish and ÜberChic Lovely Leaves plate. One coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat protected the stamping, one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave the mani extra shine.

Nail Crazies Unite: Ghost & Matte

With Halloween nearing, the Nail Crazies Unite want to see ghosts and matte today.

I decided to keep this one monochrome and started with two coats of aEngland Bridal Veil, a black polish with some holo sparkles. I was so sure I had some ghost stamping patterns, but in my more than 100 plates, not one single ghost pattern was to be found. So I hand painted them, using Born Pretty Store black and white stamping polish, a nail art brush and a dotting tool. After my usual coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to protect the nail art, I added one coat of Picture Polish G'Day Matte for the matte effect.

Nail Crazies Unite: Inspired by Horror Movie

October is Halloween month, so the Nail Crazies Unite want to see manis inspired by horror movies.

Dark forests, a lake and something that's supposed to be a hockey mask. If you're into horror movies, you hopefully get what I was aiming at. If not, just take a peek at my last picture ;-)

I used Essence Black Is Back and Wild White Ways for the background and the hockey mask, MoYou London Surf's Up for the lake, MoYou London Into The Woods, an emerald green Born Pretty Store stamping polish and ÜberChic Woodland Chic plate for the woods. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave the mani some extra shine.
