Dear Hearts

Pink polish today to distract you from the grey weather ;-)

Today's polish is All That Glitters Dear Hearts, one of the first indie polishes I ever ordered. "Dear Hearts glitter nail polish I created with Valentine's in mind but can be worn and enjoyed year round! It has a pink chrome base with silver glitters in various shapes/colors and is loaded pink, red, lavender hearts."
(Source: All That Glitters)

Application was easy, only the hearts needed a little fishing ad placing. I used three coats and finished with one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast. The hearts still stuck out a little through the topcoat, but I guess that's normal with glitters this size.

Dear Hearts is no longer available, but there are lots of other gorgeous All That Glitters polishes on Etsy.

Purple Indies II

Today I have a new purple Indie mani for you, featuring five different Indie polishes.

As base color I used Cult Nails Flushed (I've already shown this one here).

Then I added the Indies, two coats each.

On my thumb I'm wearing Pahlish Slow Fade Of Love, a "Sheer deep purple base with pink, purple, and holographic microglitter and very fine pink shimmer"
(Source: Pahlish)

My index finger shows Pahlish Chemical Swirl, a "deep and dusty lavender base with green shimmer, purple and chartreuse metallic glitter, and a confetti mix of matte glitters"
(Source: Pahlish)

On my middle finger I'm wearing KBShimmer Square, a deep purple jelly base with lots of differents sized square glitters in various colors, such as blue, fuchsia, red and gold.

Hare Magic Mist is on my ring finger a dusty purple base with red and orange hex glitters, small blue and medium fuchsia squares.

Finally, on my pinkie finger, All That Glitters Plum & Plummer, the lightest of them all. "Plum & Plummer has a grey lavender pearly base with cool toned purples and silver glitters in various colors, shapes and sizes and loaded with large gunmetal hexs."
(Source: All That Glitters)

This one was actually part of the very first indie polish order I placed!

None of these polishes gave me any issues applying. I finished with two coats of Essie Good To Go.

Pahlish polishes are available on Etsy and at Llarowe.

KBShimmer polishes can be found at their own shop (US only) and at Harlow & Co.

Hare polishes are sold on Etsy and at Llarowe.

All That Glitters polishes are available on Etsy.

Sadly, the only two polishes still available are Slow Fade Of Love and Magic Mist, the other three are discontinued.

Blue Indies

Another multiple indie post today, this time in blue.

I started with two coats of China Glaze Kinetic Candy (Electropop collection), a slightly muted pastel blue.

On my thumb, I added two coats of Candeo Glacier "a refreshing blue base with holographic shimmer, small teal hex, small blue squares and multiple sizes of silver glitter."
(Source: Llarowe)

There are also black hexes and microglitter in black, silver and blue.

Next, on my index finger, I used two coats of All that Glitters Very Peacock-ish. "Very Peacock-ish has a blue/green pearly base with small blue and green glitters in various colors, shapes and sizes as well as gold and black opal (black/navy/dark purple) large hexes scattered throughout. This is one colorful polish and totally the color of a peacock - hence the name. ;)"
(Source: All that Glitters Etsy shop).

The large hexes didn't want to come out of the bottle, so a little fishing and dabbing was necessary.

On my middle finger you see two coats of KBShimmer Watercolor. "While this blue is not as bright as the others neons, this is no baby blue.  This polish starts with the blue base.  To the base, I started with purple glitters in two sizes, a bright blue and a satin purple.  I then loaded it with royal blue large hex, pink holographic hex and magenta hex glitters.  It is finished with micro pink and larger sliver holographic glitters for some added sparkle.  This polish was inspired by a watercolor painting I recently saw, where the pinks, purples and blues just flowed into one another, it was stunning, as stunning as I hope you find this polish."
(Source: KBShimmer)

It really looks like a watercolor painting with the deeper layers of glitter shlightly blurred.

This one can be worn with no undies, it's opaque with three to four coats.

My ring finger shows two coats of Pahlish Dance Across The Sea (Discontinued), a "teal-leaning blue jelly base with small iridescent glitter, blue/green shimmer, small scattered blue hex."
(Source: Pahlish Etsy shop)

Finally, on my pinkie finger, two coats of Pretty & Polished Pool Party, " a creamy light blue with a purple flash filled with random sized, shaped, and colored pieces of glitter."
(Source: Pretty & Polished Etsy shop)

Pool Party's discontinued, but there's a new version of it called Party at Joe's.

To finish I used one coat of Essie Good to Go.
