Born Pretty Store Nail Vinyls

Born Pretty store offered me some nail vinyls I want to show you today, thank you so much, Born Pretty Store! I know the colors don't match the season at all, but I was wearing this mani a week ago, when we already had about 10 days of rain every day, so it felt more loke autumn than early summer...








I started with three coats of OPI Samoan Sands, a peach toned nude jelly.





I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to speed up drying, and once my base was completely dry, I stuck on the nails vinyls, added one thick coat of Mentality Polish Carpe, a foil polish shifting from a pinkish red to a brownish gold, and removed the vinyls. Another coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top protected the newly added leaves. The nail vinyls are quite sturdy but tear easily, so once you placed them, you can't remove them without tearing. No reuse with this ones, sadly. You can get the vinyls here for 3.99$ a sheet with ten vinyls. There are four different patterns available, I used K-40.

52 Week Challenge - Scales / Navy

Scales and navy are this week's challenge themes.




For this mani I used Mentality Polish Altered, a navy blue holo, and Kiko Mirror Lacquer 625 (Emerald), a turquoise metallic. The stamping plate I used is MoYou Sailor Collection 05. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

A Box, Indied - Magically Delicious

 

The fourth polish of the march "A Box, Indied" is Colors by Llarowe Magically Delicious.





Magically Delicious is a medium lilac holo. I used three coats (plus one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top) on my ring and middle finger.




On my other fingers I applied two coats of Mentality Regal, a plum shimmer with a matte finish. For the stamping I used Sugar Bubble plate SB 019 (available at DRK nails) and Magically Delicious. No topcoat, to preserve the matte finish of Regal.

52 Week Challenge - Hearts / Purple

This week the 52 Weeks Challenge feels the Valentine's spirit with the themes hearts and purple.

I used two matte polishes for this mani, both by Mentality. The lighter base color is called Gale, a lilac matte shimmer. For the heart I used Nail Vinyls (apparently the don't offer the heart shaped ones anymore) and Matriarch, which I applied using a fan brush. No topcoat on this one.

A Box, Indied - Turkey Coma

Today I want to show you the next polish of the november "A Box, Indied", Colors by Llarowe Turkey Coma.





Turkey Coma is a bright, vivid red holo, somewhere between tomato and apple. I used two coats for opacity.





For this "brocade" look I stamped with Mentality Tempest and MoYou Fashionista Collection plate 07. No topcoat on this one, I wanted to keep the matte, velvety look of the Mentality polish.

Halloween

Happy Halloween!

For today, I decided to copy this simple but quite fascinating mani by Squeaky Nails.




As base color I used Mentality polish Courage, a maroon matte shimmer (does this make any sense? Well, it's a shimmer polish with a matte finish). I used two coats for opacity.







For the spiderwebs, I used Bundle Monster holiday plate BM-H07 and silver Essence stamping polish. No topcoat on this mani, to keep the matte finish.

A Box, Indied - This Is Halloween

It's not quite Halloween yet, but the name of today's "A Box, Indied" polish is This Is Halloween by Different Dimension.





This Is Halloween is a lilac holo with a subtle pink shimmer. I used three coats for opacity and had no issues with application.

I used Mentality polish Matriarch, a purple matte polish, and Lily Anna plate 14 to add this starry design. I did'nt use any topcoat on this one, as I wanted to keep the matte finish of Matriarch.
