50 Years Star Trek

If you've been following my blog for a while, you might know that I'm a complete Sci Fi and fantasy geek. My first contact with Sci Fi were reruns of Star Trek The Original Series, back in the mid 80ies, when it was simply called Star Trek (Raumschiff Enterprise in german), because there existed only the one show (and a couple of movies). And today it's exactly 50 years since it first aired! For this occasion I want to show you this Star Trek themed mani I wore in may (I know, ages ago), when I was attending the german Sci Fi convention FedCon.

I started with three coats of ILNP Abundance. "Abundance is an absolutely gorgeous fall themed Ultra Chrome that couldn't be more suited to the colors of the season! Abundance effortlessly shifts through super vivid hues of red, orange, bronze. and gold" (Source: ILNP) I already wore Anbundance in this mani (with pictures of the polish on its own)

On top of Abundance I stamped Klingon letters using P2 Eternal and MoYou London Geek Collection plate 05. This stamping plate really is a must have for people like me, not only containing a Klingon pattern, a Gallifreyan motive and and a LotR-themed inscripture, but also 9 other geeky patterns. As usual, I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

ILNP polishes are available on Etsy and at their own shop.
