Golden Oldie Thursday - Day 10 - Purple

Golden Oldie Thursday, round 10. This weeks theme's purple.

I've been planning to follow this tutorial by Angela (aussie indie brand Gloss n' Sparkle) for quite some time, but I thought it to be even more time comsuming than it actually is (I expected it to take at least three hours, but in fact, it took me "only" two).

The polishes I used are Zoya Katherine (Gloss Collection), a sheer plum colored jelly, and Essie Beyond Cozy (Leading Lady Collection), a warm toned silver foil. I took five turns with each polish, so in total this mani contains of 10 layers (12 if you count base- and topcoat).

As always, you can check out all the other parcitipant's manis below.

  1. Beautiful mani and another perfect choice of colors/finishes - 10 coats that would be a novum for me!!! But the result is totally stunning!

    1. Vielen Dank!. Ich trage meine Manis ja meist nur für einen Tag, und den hat sie gut durchgehalten. Es sah einfach ein bisschen aus wie Gel-Nägel, wegen der dicken Lackschicht ;-)

    1. Thank you! While I love the outcome, it's nothing I'd want to do on a daily basis... ;-)
