This week's Golden Oldie Tuesday theme is ruffle mani. As I've never tried one of these before, I decided to follow a tutorial, just to be sure.
The polishes I used are (starting from my cuticle, so look below, not up): Essie Turquois & Caicos, China Glaze Exotic Encounters (On Safari Collection), China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On (Avant Garden Collection), China Glaze Adore (Romantique Collection), P2 Dangerous and Essence Shopping @ Portobello Road (Vintage Disctric Trend Edition). As always, I used one coat of Rica Glossy Glam to finish this mani. The final result reminds me somehow of a sweater my dad loves to wear :-)
Look at what the other participants created below
What a lovely mani!!! And my favorite set of colors!!! They evoke the idea of some very tropical island beach scenery!!!
ReplyDeleteTropical beach or winter sweater - two very different images this mani evokes :-)
DeleteEveryone came up with amazing stuff! I love the colors that you used.
ReplyDeleteThank you, as you probably know, I just love these shades of teal/turquoise/aqua, too :-)
DeleteThese colours are amazing, and you've made great ruffles! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Ivy! It was my first try, so I'm very glad you like it .-)
