Pahlish February Duo

Today's mani shows the Pahlish February Duo called EXTERMINAAAATE, inspired by the Dalek armour.

The base color is called The Primary Order, a light grey base filled with charcoal and golden flakes. I used two medium coats for opacity.

The glitter topper's name is The Crucible, a clear base with glitters in all metal colors, gold, silver, bronze, gunmetal.

I added one coat of The Crucible on my ring finger and thumb and topped it with a genereous coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top. My topcoat bottle was almost empty, that's why it bubbled so extremely. Sorry for that.

Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel, at Overall Beauty and at Llarowe. I bought mine at the Bigcartel shop. The monthly duos are limited edition, so this one is no longer available.

My Little Glacier Holo

Today I have another one of the ILNP multichromes to show you: My Little Glacier (holo version).
Check out the non-holo version here.

The multichrome effect of My Little Glacier is more subtle than it was in the non-holo version. It shifts from steel grey over turquoise to a navy blue. I added some triangles/chevrons with Essie Blue Rhapsody and a nail art brush for a sublte accent. One coat of a England The Shield finished this mani.

Golden Oldie Thursday - Stripes

"Stripes" is the theme of this week's Golden Oldie Thursday.

I started with a base of China Glaze Fade Into Hue (Avant Garden Collection),a periwinkle colored creme. I used two medium coats for opacity and had no issues with application.

The I used straight nail vinyls and Pretty Serious Tux for the stripe pattern. Tux is a black polish with a duochrome shimmer shifting from blue to green. One coat of aEngland The Shield added some extra shine.

Pretty Serious polishes are available at their own shop and at numerous international stockists. I bought mine at MeiMei's Signatures.

More stripes below.

Fonteyn's Public Relations

A new stamped mani for today.

As base color I used two coats of aEngland Fonteyn, a lavender toned holo. As always, the formula of the aEngland polish was very nice to work with.

Then I used China Glaze Public Relations, a grey-ish purple shimmer, and Pueen plate SE01B, to add this flowery pattern. One coat of aEngland The Shield protected this mani.

Anthracite Pirouette

Today's mani has a little wintery look, but we had a lot of grey and rainy days this summer... ;-)

As base color I used an unnamed polish by ELF, an anthracite grey creme with tiny silver holographic glitters. As you can see, this polish dries pretty rough, but it's not meant as a textured polish. I used two medium coats for opacity.

Then I added one coat of OPI Pirouette My Whistle (New York City Ballet collection) a clear based glitter topper with silver holographic migroglitter and medium white hexes.

I didn't have any issues applying Pirouette My Whistle. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Today's polish is called Turbulence and is by Emily de Molly.

Turbulence has a blue jelly base and is filled with glitters in lime green, fuchsia, blue, gold and silver holographic, hexes, dots and diamonds. I used three coats and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Emily de Molly polishes are available on Etsy (Australia only), at Llarowe, at Mei Mei's Signatures and at Norway Nails.

1. August

Today's our national holiday here in Switzerland, so I wish all my swiss readers a very happy 1. August/août!

For my swiss mani I used ILoveNailpolish Very Ornamental, a ruby red holo. Application was easy, I used two coats for opacity. For the swiss cross on my ring finger I used some square Born Pretty Store studs. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top provided a glossy finish and secured the studs.
