Laugh Myself Lily

KBShimmer's Laugh Myself Lily is today's polish.

Laugh Myself Lily has an aqua jelly base filled with silver holographic microglitter and lots of hex and dot glitters in various colors. With the three coats I used the polish wasn't completely opaque, but wearable. Laugh Myself Lily dried a little gritty, so I added two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Laugh Myself Lily is discontintued, but other KBShimmer polishes are sold on their website (US only) and at Harlow & Co.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Yellow and 1 bold color

Yellow and one bold color are askey by this week's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas. Well, yellow already is a bold color, so it's actually two bold colors ;-)

I decided to combine yellow with red and used MoYou London Sweet Custard and Autumn Harvest plus MoYou London Kaleidoscope Collection plate 04 for this mani. I added ove coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to protect the stamping and give the mani some extra shine.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt - taubenblau

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is dove blue.

My base polish is Butter London Victoriana, a blue polish with grey and teal undertones and very prominent silver shimmer particles. Two coats were enough for opacity.

For the stamping I used  Bundle Monster plate BM-314 and Barry M. Silver Foil. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Steeling Diamonds

Today I want to show you Emily de Molly's Steeling Diamonds.

Steeling Diamonds has a light grey jelly base with strong blue undertones. The polish is filled with white, aqua and charcoal hex glitters and silver holographic diamonds. I used three coats for opacity and added two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top, since Steeling Diamonds dried a little gritty.

Emily de Molly polishes are available on Etsy and at their own shop (Australia only) and at a lot of international stockists. Sadly, Steeling Diamonds seems to be discontinued, I couldn't find it in the shops anymore.

Nail Crazies Unite - Watercolor

Friday is challenge day! This week's theme is Watercolor.

For this prompt I only used white nail polish (two coats of MoYou London White Knight as a base). For the colors I used Sharpies. I simply painted with the Sharpies on my polish base, dipped a make up sponge in 96% Ethanol and dabbed the sponge over the nails. You only need very little alcohol, the sponge only has to be slightly damp, if you use too much, you remove alle the color from your nails. After some drying time, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Consulting Criminal

Consulting Criminal is today's polish. It's named after Jim Moriarty, the antagonist of BBC's "Sherlock", and the polish was made by A Study In Polish.

Consulting Criminal has a black jelly base filled with silver and red hex glitters plus red microglitters. I used three coats for opacity and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for a smooth finish.

A Study In Polish is no longer available, unless on blog sales etc.
