No blue in today’s mani, but grey und burgundy.
My base color is Essence Get Artsy (Vintage
District Limited Edition) a medium grey base with a gorgeous pink shimmer. The
shimmer translated well to the nail, but was very hard to capture on
picture. The formula was good, a little on the thin
side but opaque in two coats.
On top of Get Artsy I dabbed one coat of ILoveNailpolish A Nice Chianti, „a beautiful variation of burgundy and deep
wine colored glitters“ in a clear base.

Application was easy, no fishing needed and the
glitters spread easily with dabbing. I noted that A Nice Chianti smells a
little strong. Burgundy is not a color I’m usually wearing, but I
really like this polish over grey, even though this combo gives me some odd skin color.
I finished with one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

Lovely combo!!!! I have this Essence polish as well and like it for its base color quality,the glitter is just lovely :-)

DeleteDen Vintage District Lack habe ich auch, leider trocknet er bei mir gar nicht durch und hält dann nicht mal :/
ReplyDeleteSchade, so macht das Lackieren dann ja auch keinen Spass mehr, dabei ist es eine wirklich schöne und auch aussergewöhnliche Farbe. Ich lese immer wieder, dass viele Leute Probleme mit Essence-Lacken haben, du bist da kein Einzelfall. Meine Nägel mögen Essence glücklicherweise. Na ja, sie mögen fast alles - ausser Chanel ;-)
