Nail Crazies Unite: Christmas/Holiday Food/Drink

Nail Crazies Unite want to see Christmas or holiday food and drink today. The typical swiss Christmas dinner is Fondue Chinoise (meat fondue), which I absolutely love (my mum makes the best sauces), but is almost impossible to show on nails. So I went with cookies. Gingerbread men aren't really a thing here, but it was the only Christmas cookie pattern I found in my huge stash of stamping plates...

I started with two coats of Born Pretty Store Aloof (Melody Life Series), an emerald green creme.

For the gingerbread men I used ÜberChic Happy Christmas plate, white and light brown Born Pretty Store stamping polish for a reverse stamping.  As you can see, I totally screwed up my ring finger, I just didn't let the stamping dry enough before applying it. But then, sometimes cookies melt together in the oven, and you still eat them, right? I secured the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

When Colours Collide: Red, white and green

It's time for the next round of the When Colours Collide challenge, this week with the colors red, white and green.

I started with two coats of Essence Wild White Ways, a simple white creme. For the stamping I used my favorite red shimmer, A England Percival, and green Born Pretty Store stamping polish. I used two patterns of the ÜberChic 24-02 plate that are especially ment for double stamping. I secured the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for extra shine.

Frisch Lackiert Challenge: Sterne & Nordlichter

It's already time for the last prompt of the Frisch Lackiert Challenge for this round, stars and northern lights.

I started with two coats of Pretty Serious Hot Summer Nights, one of my "starry sky in a bottle" polishes, a midnight blue jelly with holo sparkles. I know the Aurora Borealis is a more of a winter thing and doesn't show in hot summer nights, but it's about the color, not the name of the polish, right? ;-)

The name of my "northern lights" polish is more fitting for the season, it's Winter Green by MoYou London. I sponged it on with a make up sponged and sealed it with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Congratulations

November is almost over, soon winter starts (we had our first show this week, actually, but just some single flakes), so I guess it's time for my last fall foliage mani for this year.

My base is three coats of Enchanted Polish Congratulations, a multichrome holo in gold, orange and pink shades.

For the stamping, I used Barry M. Gold Foil and ÜberChic Lovely Leaves 3 plate. One coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Top protected the stamping, one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave extra shine.

Enchanted Polish are available at Pshiiit and their own shop.

Cherish The Epoch

Epoch is today's polish by Cirque Colors.

Epoch is a multichrome foil polish shifting from purple over blue and aqua to green. I used three coats for opacity.

For the stamping, I used China Glaze Cherish, a light green metallic, and ÜberChic plate 15-02. I added one coat of Bundle Munster Smudge Free Top Coat for protection and one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for extra shine.

Cirque polishes are sold at their own store, at Harlow & Co., and at Mei Mei's Signatures.

Frisch Lackiert Challenge: Ombre Nailart

Ombre nail art is this week's theme for the Frisch Lackiert challnge. At first I thought, it shouldn't be a problem to find five polishes in my huge stack for this one, but since I wanted to use the same finish on all nails, it was harder than expected. On my nails, the two darker and the two medium blues look quite similar, but the bottle shot proves I used indeed five different polishes.

I started with the darkest color on my pinkie and went lighter to the thumb. My blues are NYX Royal Blue, Barry M. Indigo, Essie Avenue Maintain, Lapiz Of Luxury and Find Me An Oasis. For the stamping I used white Born Pretty Store stamping polish and ÜberChic plate 15-03. One coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat fixed the stamping.

Nail Crazies Unite: Trees/Fall Foliage

Trees or fall foliage are this week's theme for the Nail Crazies Unite challenge. As you might know, I really love fall foliage manis, so I didn't have to think long with this prompt.

I started with one coat of MoYou London Café Au Lait, and then dry-marbeled using MoYou London Café Au Lait, It's A Date, Sweet Custard, Autumn Harvest and Rust Red. For the stamping, I used black Born Pretty Store stamping polish and ÜberChic Lovely Leaves plate. One coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat protected the stamping, one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave the mani extra shine.

When Colours Collide: Silver, Blue and Black

Silver, blue and black are this week's When Colours Collida shades. This combo screams for snowflakes in my eyes, but it's just too early, so I did something "season neutral"...

I started with three coats of Kiko 424, a medium blue polish with pink shimmer. Sadly, the shimmer doesn't really translate to the nails, even it's clearly visible in the bottle. On the nails, it seemed somewhat boring to me...

For the stamping, I used ÜberChic plate 24-02 and did a gradient using Barry M. Silver Foil and black Born Pretty Store stamping polish. I fixed the stamping with one coat of Bundle Monster Smudge Free Top Coat.
