Heartshaped Box

More neutral glitter today!

My base color for this mani is OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons (Germany Collection), a very slightly yellow toned nude creme. I used three coats for opacity, application was easy.

On top of Don't Pretzel My Buttons I dabbed one coat of CrowsToes Heartshaped Box of Horse*!@#!  (ValenCrows Collection), "A mix of brown and copper glitters dusted with teeny red sparks in a clear base. Save the cheesy heart shaped box dude, just fork over the damn chocolate!"

I had no issues with application, the base is a little thick, as it is with all CrowsToes glitter polishes, but that makes dabbing on the polish easier in my eyes. Then I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.

To make this mani a little less in-your-face (yes, business meeting again) I finally matted it with Essence Soft Touch topcoat.

Crows Toes polishes are available at Llarowe and Overall Beauty.

  1. I lobe the delicate edginess of this many, I am also preferring thicker consistency to dab glitter onto my nails :-)
