Date Night Number 56
As base color I used two coats of Barielle Date Night, a emerald green polish with a slightly frosty shimmer. Due to the metallic look, Date Night applies a little streaky, but it's not too bad if you take your time applying it. As you can see, it dries really glossy, the picture shows the polish and my reflection, but no topcoat :-)
On top of Date Night I added one coat of Nfu Oh 56, a green base filled with flakes shifting from emerald green to aqua blue, plus one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.
As I absolutely love matte flakies, I just had to add one coat of Essence Soft Touch topcoat and I really love the effect.

Such a fabulous combination, both shiny and matte!ReplyDelete
Thank you Elizabeth, I'm glad you like it :-)Delete
So beautiful you choose my favorite green flakies for today - I have to use it again - le sigh!!! With Nfu Oh Flakies I am always torn - when I wear them shiny I want matte, after mattifying I regret - LOL - I need to go with one hand of each ;-PReplyDelete
It's a good thing we have to hands ;-) ok, polishing your nails if you have only one hand would be quite challenging...Delete
you could wear a flakie mani for two days, one day shiny and the other matte.
I am GREEN with envy (pun intended yes :-p) because you can get these gorgeous nail lacquers and I can't :-( The colors are just amazing, and the bottle of that Nfu Oh nail polish is super cute.ReplyDelete
I live in Switzerland, too, so most of the polishes I show I ordered over the internet from shops which deliver to Europe (these two included). I get my Nfu Oh polishes from Fabuloustreet, the Barielles are from Transdesign. But I have to admit, I do invest quite a lot of money in my hobby.Delete
Matt gefällt mir die Kombi extrem gut!ReplyDelete
Das freut mich :-) Ich stehe total auf mattierte Flakies <3Delete
