China Blue Tibetian Nights

I know, I've already shown you a Cirque polish yesterday, but this one is just too gorgoues not to show you immediately :-)

(And yes, I know, the combination of China and Tibet in one mani may be politically incorrect, but the colors just matched so good...)

I started with Kiko 265 China Blue (I already used this one on a gradient mani), a midnight blue with a sapphire shimmer. China Blue is highly pigmented, what you see is one single coat. Downside of the strong pigmentation is removal. It didn't stain, but hello, smurf fingers!

On top of China Blue I added two coats of Cirque Colors Tibetian Nights, a midnight blue jelly filled with silver hexes in two small sizes plus very small silver bars. Application was very easy, no issues to report. My bottle is about a year old, that's why the glitters have sunk to the bottom, but I didn't need to fish for them during application.

I added one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer for a really glossy finish.

Cirque polishes are sold at their own store, at Harlow & Co., at Edgy Polish and at Mei Mei's Signatures.

  3. Le sigh - my favorite dark blue glitter - there is no other like Tibetan Night!!! That Kiko is stunning and sadly smurf fingers seem to cme with so many of those dark blues but who would think about the removal while glimpsing those stars on the nails???

    1. You're right, smurf fingers are a very small price to pay for such a beauty :-)
