Monochrome Reciprocal Gradient

Today I want to show you another attempt at a reciprocal gradient.

The two polishes I used are Color Club Beyond and aEngland Encore Margot, two holo polishes in the grey/silver range. I also used some nail vinyls by Twinkled T and of course my favorite top coat KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

aEngland polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.

  1. What's the 'line' that runs through the middle of each nail?

    1. That's where the two gradients meet. I started with a gradient with light tips and dark bases, applied the square spiral vinyls and added the second gradient with dark tips and light bases. On my thumb you can see that with this line the light goes over to dark and the other way round. On the "line", the two colors mix together. I hope this makes sense ;-)
