After yesterday's muddy green, another green mani, but this time in more vivid colors (my boyfriend chose them).
I started with two coats of Barielle Myrza's Meadow, a light, grassy green with tiny holographic glitters. The two coats I used weren't quite enough for opacity, if I was wearing it alone, I'd have used three.
Then I added a gradient using a make-up sponge and Barielle Teaser, a medium, slightly teal toned green creme. I'm wearing no topcoat on this picture, that's why the gradient still looks a little coarse (topcoat helps a lot to make a gradient look softer).
For a little "bling", I then added one coat of Orly Mermaid Tale, a clear base filled with green hexes in various sizes and shades (even some holographics), and one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer for a smooth finish.

DeleteGorgeous! I also love Barielle Myrza's Meadow by itself <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Nati <3
DeleteJust perfect!!!! I love that glitter over the gradient - it sort of ties the mani together, right? I have Myzra too but it still sits in my untrieds as I am abit afraid of what I have read about its formula - you had no issues I gather???
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Christine! No, I've had no issues with Myrza's formula, apart from being pretty sheer. I'd say it takes three to four coats for opacity, at least with my nails.
DeleteYou probably know by now that I like greens. The all look great together, lovely result!
ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa, I'm so glad you like it <3
DeleteI so totally love those close up shots...!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I really love them, too :-)
