Nail Crazies Unite - Beach

 

Beach is the theme for this week's Nail Crazies Unite challenge.





For this seashore mani I used Essie Style Cartel, Lapiz Of Luxury, Find Me An Oasis and Brooch The Subject, MoYou London White Knight and Bundle Monster plate BM-509 (plus my usual caot of KBShimmer Clearly On Top).

Lacke in Farbe und bunt - mittelblau

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is medium blue.






The polish I chose is Pretty & Polished I Don't Think You're Ready For This Crelly, a medium blue crelly with white hex glitters and two sizes of blue and silver holo dots. I used three coats for opacity. Since the dot glitters are quite big and flat, and my nails are curved, the bigger glitters tend to stick out at the edges. I added two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top, but I could still feel the glitters.

Living Water

Today's polish is Living Water by Cult Nails.






Living Water has a deep, almost black teal jelly base with tiny blue and green glitters in it. I used three coats and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Sunshine is this week's challenge theme, and in the last couple of weeks we really had a lot of sunshine here, the summer looks very promising.





This time, I chose a more abstract approach. On my pinkie, index and thumb I used three coats of Alter Ego Nail Enamel Plumber, a sky blue polish with a strong pink shimmer. My ring and middle finger show the sun (or something like that) using Catrice Earnie and Birdie (three coats) and a stamping with MoYou London White Knight and ÜberChic plate 1-01. As usual, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is lilac.

My base polish is ILNP Deja Vu, a lilac linear holo. I used three coats for opacity.




For the stamping I used MoYou London Purple House and Moyra stamping plate 03 Ornaments. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

The Stars Look Very Different Today

Today's polish is named after the wonderful episode "Vincent and the Doctor" of the british scifi series Doctor Who (I cry every time I watch this episode...) and it's called The Stars Look Very Different Today by Pahlish.










The Stars Look Very Different Today has a royal blue jelly base filled with holo microglitter and hex, dot, triangle and star glitters in blue, green, pink, white and silver, some of them holographic. The polish was surprisingly opaque for a jelly, the pictures show two medium coats. On the downside, the glitters tend to clump together, so even after the two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top I used, I could still feel the glitter-bumps...

Nail Crazies Unite - Ocean Life

Ocean Life is this week's challenge theme.

As base color I used Enchanted Polish Desert Night Sky, a midnight blue scattered holo. I used two medium coats for opacity.

For the stamping I used Kiko Mirror Lacquer 623 (Blue), Bundle Monster stamping plates BM-502, 503, 504 and 506 and MoYou London Sailor Collection plate 07. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.
