26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Green Freestyle
The last day of march has come, and with it the challenge prompt green freestyle.
Freestyle means for me to do whatever I want, and since I haven't done a dry brush mani for ages, I went with this technique. The polishes I used are Essence In The Jungle and Essie Turquoise & Caicos and Stylenomics over a white base (two coats of MoYou London White Knight). One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top provided a smooth finish and some extra shine.

Snow Over The Rhone
Snow Over The Rhone is a royal blue holo polish with silver shard glitters. The silver is clearly visible in the bottle, but on the nails, all the shards sunk into the polish and looked the same blue as all the rest and stayed more or less invisible. I used three coats for opacity and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel and at Overall Beauty.

My Whole Life Is A Dark Room
My Whole Life Is A Dark Room has a sheer blackened purple jelly base filled with lots of purple, holographic and pink glitters in hex and square form. The polish is a little less blue than my pictures show. I used three coats and added two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for a smooth finish.
Dollish Polish are available at their store.

Nail Crazies Unite: Sweets
Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey *lalala*. Well, sweets is this weeks challenge theme (and I just love the song).
For this topic, I went with "happy" cupcakes, using MoYou London Café Au Lait as base color, MoYou London Black Night, Essence Sneezy (Snow White LE) and Mellow Yellow as stamping polishes. The stamping plate is Bundle Monster BM-XL219 (in collaboration with amyytran). One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished the mani and held the stamping decals in place.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt - petrol
My teal polish is Different Dimension Helix Nebula, a teal jelly with scattered holo glitters and color shifting hex glitters, shifting from green over orange to red. Sadly, the color shift didn't really transfer to the nails, as you can see in my pictures. The scattered holo pieces are clearly visible, the hex glitters stay mostly hidden and are only visible in a certain angle. I used three coats for opacity and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
Different Dimension polishes can be found at their own shop and at Hypnotic Polish.

Mont Bleu Glass Manicure and Pedicure Helpers
A couple of weeks ago, the Czech glassware company Mont Bleu offered me some of their products to review. Since I've heard a lot of good things about their products, I happily accepted. Thank you Mont Bleu for offering me these items!
The package I recieved contained several items. The most fancy one surely is this set of three glass nail files decorated with Swarovski crystals. The files measure 19.5, 13.5 and 9 cm. How cute is the little one?! The surface feels quite smooth, but they work perfectly well for filing your nails. The great thing about glass nail files is, that you can simply wash them with water and use them over and over again. Unlike the usual cardboard nail files, glass nail files don't wear down. Since the files are made of real glass, you shouldn't throw them around or sit on them, as they might break.
The set with three files is available here for 14 Euros
The second item I recieved is this foot scraper file. One side of it is rather smooth and feels much like the nail files, the other one is much rougher. I used the scraper file after a long shower (you should always soften the skin on your feet with hot water before treating your callus, so take a shower or a bath before grating) and I thought at first, it didn't really work. I have rather soft skin on my feet, so not much callus (but a lot of blisters in summer with open shoes...). But when I went to bed and rubbed my feet together, I realised my heels felt much softer than before. So I'm absolutely happy with the scraper file, too. (Although I was a little scared about dropping it on my tiled bathroom floor...)
The foot scraper file is available here for 16 Euros
The last item is a glass cuticle pusher. I usualy use a metal cuticle pusher, but this glass one looks much better, I have to admit. One side is pointed and the other side is formed like a horses hoof, just like cuticle pushers usually are. Pushing back my cuticles with some cutile remover worked just as it should.
You can get the cuticle pusher here for 5.49 Euros
I recieved all the items in blue or purple, since I told Mont Bleu these were my favorite colors. But there are lots of other colors to choose from. There are no sharp edges on them (the points are a little sharp, but not overly), so as long as you don't break the items, you don't have to fear cuts or anything. You can clean all the items with soap and hot water, they're very hygienic to use.
So overall, I'm absolutely happy with my new Czech glass mani and pedi helpers and can absolutely recommend all of them.
Click here to visit the Mont Bleu Shop and discover many more items.
Here you can find their wholesale website, if you like to partner with Mont Bleu
If you prefer buying through Amazon, here's the Mont Bleu Amazon shop.
Again, thank you so much for the generous offer, Mont Bleu!
And because it fits the company, here's my one of my favorite pictures I took during my stay in Prague, the Czech capital, two years ago :-)
The items in this post were offered for reviewing purposes.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Spring Animals
Spring Animals is this week's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge theme. Most animals remind me more of summer or fall, so I went with the typical spring animal: the easter bunny ;-)
For the background I sponged a green (grass) to blue (sky) gradient over a white base (MoYou London Winter Green and Beach House over White Knight). The bunnies are stamped with MoYou London Landscape Collection plate 03 and the polish It's A Date. After the stamping I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Sitting Fireside
"Sitting Fireside is a gorgeously rich maroon polish that effortlessly radiates glowing hues of fiery orange at every curve. Sitting Fireside has been delicately complemented with an assortment of gold flakes, holographic micro-flakes, and red shimmers throughout for maximum depth and incredible character!" (Source: ILNP) In real life, Sitting Fireside shifts from a almost purple color to a deep bronze. I used three coats for opacity.
For the stamping I used MoYou London Black Knight and MoYou London Arabesque Collection plate 08. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.
ILNP polishes are available on Etsy, Hypnotic Polish and at their own shop.
