Holy Grail Of Crunchy Leaves

For the beginning of October, I have my first fall mani for this year to show you.

I started with two coats of Manhattan 006 (Marcel Ostertag Collection), a milk chocolate colored creme. The color is a smite cooler than my picture shows.

The I added one coat of Gitly Bits Crunchy Leaves, a clear base filled with lots (and I mean LOTS) of small dark orange glitters (hexes and bars). Crunchy Leaves can be worn alone with three coats, but layering it over a brown gives it even more fall-y look (in my eyes at least).

Then I used a England Holy Grail, a slightly green toned gold foil, and DRK-C plate to add a stamping with autumn leaves. As you can see, the golden specks are visible, but the motive... not so much.

Then I added one coat of H&M Matte Topcoat to make the stamping more visible. Didn't help much, though... But I still like the color combo, even if the stamping isn't really recognizable as one ;-)

Natural Light (on a cloudy day)

Girly Bits polishes are available at her own storeLlaroweHarlow & Co.Overall Beauty and Mei Mei's Signatures. Sadly, Crunchy Leaves is discontinued, but Girly Bits has a lot of other beauties to discover.

a England polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.

    1. Thank you so much, Christine! When nature denies us sun and colored leaves this week, we have to provide it ourselves with the help of some nailpolish ;-)
