Lacke in Farbe und bunt - anthrazit

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is anthracite.



 

My base color is Zoya Dovima, a matte anthracite / charcoal grey with a green shimmer. This is three coats.







For the stamping I used ÜberChic Lovely Leaves stamping plate and Barry M. Silver Foil. No topcoat, to keep the matte finish.

Shine Of The Pool Side Times

Today I want you to show you a flakie mani using two Essie polishes.





My base is Essie Pool Side Service, a slightly muted teal creme. I used two coats for opacity and had no issues with application.





Then I added one coat of Essie Shine Of The Times, a clear based flakie topper with flakies shifting from green over gold to a red-ish pink. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave some extra shine.

 


Since I love matted flakies so much, I then applied one coat of Picture Polish G'Day Matte.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Winter Warmth

Yay, it's Friday! And this means, it's time for a challenge mani. This week's it's the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas' time with the prompt winter warmth.





With this task, I immediately thought of warm knitwear, and that's what I put on my nails. I started with a white base (two coats of P2 So Innocent) and then stamped one of the knitted patterns of MoYou London Fashionista Collection plate 02 using MoYou After The Storm and Chill Out and Essie Bobbing For Baubles. For a more authentic finish, I mattified everything using Picture Polish G'Day Matte.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is turquoise.






My polish is KBShimmer Home Surf, a turquoise jelly filled with silver holo hexes in various sizes (it's a little lighter than my pictures show). I used three coats for opacity. Home Surf dried a little gritty, so I added two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for a smooth finish.

Pahlish May 2016 Duo: Bohemian Rhapsody

Today I want to show you the Pahlish May 2016 duo with the name Bohemian Rhapsody (are you singing in your head right now?)





The base color is called Scaramouche, a dark purple jelly with a semi-matte finish (its a little redder irl than my pictures show). I used three coats for opacity, the picture shows it without topcoat.





The topper is Fandango, a clear based glitter topper with gold and copper flakie glitter and gold and blue holo hex glitters. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

And now we sing all together:

Nail Crazies Unite Challenge: Fall Foliage

Happy Friday everyone! Friday is challenge day, and this week it's the Nail Crazies Unite's turn with the theme "fall foliage".





I started with a light beige base (two coats of Moyou Café Au Lait) and applied stamping decals I made using B. loves plates B.0-4 leaves of happiness, Barry M. Gold Foil, Colors by Llarowe Turkey Coma, China Glaze Harvest Moon and Enchanted Polish Vampire's Dessert. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top held the decals in place.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is light red.

My red polish is Colors by Llarowe Turkey Coma, a vivid tomato red holo. I used two coats plus topcoat for the pictures.





The leaves I stamped using B. loves plates B.04 leaves of happiness plate and Barry M. Gold Foil. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave the mani some extra shine.
