Born Pretty Store Starry Night Nail Wraps
As a fan of both Vincent van Gogh and Doctor Who, of course I fell in love with these "Starry Night" nail wraps as soon as I saw them. Thank you so much, Born Pretty Store, for sending me them for reviewing purposes!
Application of these wraps is so easy, even a klutz like I can do it. Start with a layer of basecoat. Once your nails are dry, just chose the right size of the wrap, remove it from the packaging, place it on the nails, smooth it down with you fingers, fold the excess over the edge of the nail and file the rest of the wrap off. Add a layer of topcoat (don't forget to wrap the tips), and you're finished! These wraps are great when you're in a hurry, the complete mani (including drying time for base- and topcoat) took me about 20 minutes.
I'm so in love with these wraps, I think I might need the get some more ;-)
They are really reasonably priced, for only 3.99$ the set! BTW, as you can see in my pictures, the wraps are really glittery, the shop pictures of the sheets are way more realistic than the shop pictures showing the finished mani.

52 Week Challenge - Oceanic / 3 Neons
This week I decided to only use one of the two themes of the 52 week challenge, oceanic.
My base color is Pahlish The Moon Is An Egg, a royal blue holo with golden flakies. I applied three coats, but two would probably have been enough.
For the wave pattern stamping I used MoYou London Sailor Collection plate 06 and Kiko Mirror Nail Lacquer 625 (Emerald). One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.
Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel, at Overall Beauty and at Llarowe.

Today I want to show you KBShimmer's Fallen Angle (Winter 2014 Collection)
"Fallen Angle, a vibrant royal blue jelly with hints of crelly-ness, this a-cute polish features holographic blue triangles, sliver holo hexes, and blue hex glitters with micro sparkles."

I applied three coats and finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
KBShimmer polishes are sold on their website (US only) and at Harlow & Co.

A Box, Indied - Made You Look AND Born Pretty Store Water Decals
The fifth and last polish of the april "A Box, Indied" is Serum No. 5 Made You Look. Plus, I want to show you some water decals Born Pretty Store sent me for review (thank you so much!).
Made You Look is a light grey jelly polish with a strong blue shimmer. It's quite sheer, the pictures show three coats. If you want it completely opaque, I suggest layering it over a white or light grey creme. AND: this one's glowing in the dark!
The black lace pattern is the result of Born Pretty Store water decals in the pattern XF1335. I just cut the decals to the size I needed, removed the clear protective foil and put them into warm water for about 30 seconds, until they slid easily off the transfer paper. The decals are pretty thin, but if you wet your fingernails, you can slide them around without tearing them (the wet nails part is important, if you try it with dry nails, you probably will tear them). No hassle with application to report. After patting my nails dry with a paper towel I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to secure the decals. If you cut your pieces too big, don't worry, you can clean up with nail polish remover or acetone just like regular nail polish.
Serum No. 5 polishes are available at their own shop, Harlow & Co., Norwaynails, Rainbow Connection and Llarowe. Made You Look is exclusive to the april "A Box, Indied". The box is available at Llarowe as a subscription or one box only (50$ per box).

A Box, Indied - Trust No One. Suspect Everyone AND 52 Week Challenge - Neon / Indie
Today I'm killing two (or even three) birds with one stone by showing you a polish, that is by an indie brand, neon colored (this week's challenge themes) plus part of the april "A Box, Indied": Hare Polish Trust No One, Suspect Everyone (I know I'm supposed to use old polishes for the challenge, but once in a while cheating is OK, right? Of course that only goes for polish challenges, not for the rest of life)
Trust No One, Suspect Everyone has a neon green jelly base with white and gold hex glitters and light green dots, plus some subtle blue flakie shimmer. I used three coats for the pictures plus one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
Hare polishes are available on Etsy or at Llarowe. Trust No One. Suspect Everyone is exclusive to the april "A Box, Indied". The box with five polishes is available at Llarowe as a one month only box or as subscription (50$ per box).
