Emily de Molly Comparison Post - A Certain Shade Of Green, Monet's Garden
My loyal reader and fellow swiss nail blogger Christine asked me yesterday, if the two Emily de Molly polishes A Certain Shade Of Green and Monet's Garden were very similar. So here's the comparison.
I used A Certain Shade Of Green on my pinkie and middle finger, Monet's Garden on my ring and index finger, three coats each. As you can see, they are nowhere near similar (at least not for a polish junkie like me). The base of Monet's Garden is significantly darker, plus it's a jelly, while the base of A Certain Shade Of Green is a crelly. And of course the glitters are completely different. So owning both is completely justified :-)
Emily de Molly polishes are available on Etsy (Australia only), at Llarowe, at Mei Mei's Signatures and at Norway Nails.

ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome! I hope you can still get it, I didn't even check if it's still avaiable...
DeleteI just knew after reading the question yesterday, that you would make this comparison. But wow this fast!
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I'm usually not that fast. But O. was not coming until today, so I had a little extra time yesterday :-)
DeleteMonet's Garden gefällt mir sogar noch besser.
ReplyDeleteIch finde den auch ganz toll, ich bin ein grosser Monet-Fan, und der Lack sieht wirklich aus wie eines seiner Gartenteich-Bilder <3
