A Box, Indied - Heart Breaker
The next february "A Box, Indied" polish is Dollish Polish Heart Breaker
I started with a base of Essie Carry On (Fall 2011 Collection), a deep oxblood red creme. The formula is very pleasing, a little thin but not runny, and opaque with two thin coats. Carry On dries extremely glossy, no topcoat used in the picture below.
Then I dabbed on one coat of Dollish Polish Heart Breaker, a clear base filled with tons of glitters in various shades of pink and red in (almost) all existing forms, some of them holographic. There are hexes, squares, dots, bars, shards, hearts and butterflies (or are they bows? Can't really tell, it's the "thing" on the lower right of my thumb nail anyway). One coat of Rica Glossy Glam provided a smooth finish.
To be honest, I liked Heart Breaker much better than I expected. As you probably know, I'm not really into red and pink polish, but I was quite happy with how these two polishes looked together (and they matched the day I was wearing them pretty good, this was my actual V-day mani).
Dollish Polish are available at their store, at Llarowe and at Overall Beauty. Heart Breaker was exclusive to the february"A Box, Indied". The box with five polishes is available at Llarowe as a one month only box or as subscription (50$ per box).

ReplyDeleteThank you hon! I always place the bottle upside down for about half an hour before using a chunky glitter polish, it helps getting the bigger pieces out.
