As you probably already know, I love matte manis. Today's
mani I didn't mattefy, but simply used a matte polish for the same effect.
As base color I used Zoya Loredana (
Matte Velvet Collection), a matte medium grey with silver
shimmer. Zoya's matte polishes are a little thin, so I used three thin coats of
opacity.
For the stamping I used the Essence stamping polish in silver
and Pueen plate 47. No topcoat on this one, as I wanted to keep the matte look.
DeleteWhat a great matti!!! Beautiful color combination, and what a great stamping (still trying over here - LOL)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Christine! Stamping mostly is learning by doing (while the right equipment certainly helps), so don't give up!
DeleteOh what a fun idea, a doodle on your nails :-D Love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa, I'm glad you do.
DeleteFinally I got my Google+ Account :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I would buy every polish I like on your post my hubby would probably send me to ** ;-)
Thanks for your Blog!
Härzlech Wiukomme!
DeleteYou know, there's always your birthday and Christmas ;-)
And you'll get the three you ordered on our ladies night, they're sitting in my kitchen waiting for you :-)
I'm in awe for your application. I do struggle applying matte shades and would never achieve such a flawless look. So very well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Nati. But I have to admit, it's the polish that "applied itself" so well, not my skills. I don't have much experience with matte polishes, but the Zoya ones are really easy to apply. Too bad they're not available anymore, I'd love to get the rest of the collection.
