Spindleweb In San Francisco

Claude Monet's one of my favorite painters, and today's mani reminds me a little of his water lilys.

My base color for today's mani is Catrice San Francisco (Big City Life Limited Edition), a nice teal polish with a subtle shimmer. Formula was good, I used two medium coats for opactiy. Don't forget to ust basecoat with this one, maybe even a double layer, I used only one and it stained.

On top of San Francisco, I added one coat of Femme Fatale Spindleweb, "a sheer deep jewel toned blue with strong green shimmers, suitable for layering over other shades rather than wearing alone, and filled with scatterings of blue, green and iridescence in various sizes."

Application was easy, only the biggest hexes needed a little placing. I finished with one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of sally Hansen Insta-Dri.

Femme Fatale polishes are available at their shop (Australia only), Llarowe, Harlow & Co. , Norway Nails and Shoppe Ecclectico.

I'm really into the Aussies at the moment, Femme Fatale and Emily de Molly, I just love their glitters!

    1. Thank you! I'm sure it does, as long as the base color is dark enogh. Due to the tinted base, it will surely look patchy over light bases, just like Hydraxia does http://aglayanails.blogspot.ch/2013/06/mint-candy-hydraxia.html

    1. Thank you, Melissa! The Monet (almost) twin posts weren't planned that way, but a lucky coincidence :-)

    1. Bei der Hitzewelle wären wir doch wohl alle lieber Meerjungfrauen, als bei der Arbeit zu schwitzen ;-)
