Howl at the Moon
Today I have Girly Bits Howl at the Moon (Calendar Girls Part 3) to show you.
"Howl at the Moon is a blackened blurple jelly with various sizes of gold hexes."
(Source: Creator's blog)
I used four coats of Howl at the Moon to reach full opacity, and finished with one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Essie Good to Go.
The formula on this one's great, no dabbing or fishing for glitters needed. It's pretty sheer, but as it is a jelly, that's completely normal.
I thought the base was black, but when I polished my first coat, I realised that the color is indeed a very dark blurple, almost ink-like. I counted three sizes of gold hexes plus golden microglitter. The deep purple color and the gold hexes remind me of a painted night sky with different sized stars. A van Gogh maybe?
That's why I love jelly polishes with glitter. Look how three-dimensional this polish gets with a couple of coats.
Girly Bits polishes are available at her own store, Llarowe, Harlow & Co., Overall Beauty and Mei Mei's Signatures.
