Look at that beautiful label |
Today I have two Feenix polishes to show you.
Then I added two coats of Cammie, a polish with "14 different glitters in shades of green, gold, brown and gray" (Source: Feenix Polish Etsy shop). It contains round, hex and square glitters. Together they make a gorgeous fall mani.
As beautiful these polishes are, the formula disappointed me a little. Both polishes were thick and goopy, and took ages to dry, even with fast drying top coat. Cammie was pretty gritty, too. Two coats of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer weren't enough to provide a smooth finish, but as it took so long to dry, I didn't want to use another coat of polish.
Feenix polishes can be bought at the Feenix Polish Etsy shop.
that color combination is gorgeous!! im obsessed with gold polishes...but I especially love the addition of green glitter in it--kind of unexpected!! too bad the formula wasn't the best. butter london has a new holiday polish with a similar color composition maybe you would like that one? I think it's called scuppered. :)

Thank you, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteI'll take a look at the Butter London polish. You seem to like Butter London a lot, considering your blog ;-)
And I think I'll use some polish thinner with Twigs before the next use, maybe the formula gets better with that.
I agree. I just got a bottle of their Western Union, and while I LOVE this version of the black/white glitter combo, it's been almost an hour and it still hasn't fully set. Granted, I haven't used a fast-dry, but 60+ minutes seems kinda bonkers.
ReplyDeleteI always use quick drying topcoat, I'm too impatient wo wait ;-) With topcoat I expect a polish to be dry to the touch after 10 min max, and with this polish it took around 30... Too bad, the polishes look awesome, but are a pain to use...
