A new year is no reason to stop with my nail art challenges, so here's the first for 2018: metallic plus one color. I went a little further and used two metallic polishes with this one.
My base color is Essence Beat The Winter Blues (Step Into Magic Wonderland LE), a periwinkle blue metallic. I bought this one for stamping, but I'm sure it won't work for that purpose. Unlike other metallic polishes, this one is very sheer and barely opaque with three coats. I really like the color, but I'm disappointed with the formula, sadly.
For the stamping I used Barry M. Silver Foil and MoYou London Holy Shapes Collection plate 04. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.
I really like this. Even though that polish didn't turn out to be good for stamping, it does make a beautiful base to stamp over.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindi. As I mentioned, I really like the color, too :-)
