I started with a white base, two coats of P2 So Innocent. Application of the decals was quite easy: just remove the transparent protection foil, soak the decals in warm water for 20-30 seconds, remove the white sheet underneath and place them on your wet nails. It's really important to wet your nails with water, if you don't, you'll probably tear the decals. You can move the decals around on your wet nails until you're happy with the placement. Then dab the water off with some tissue and add topcoat. The decals come in six sizes, so you'll sure find a size that fits your nails. If they are too big, you can cut them with scissors or just use nail polish remover after application.
You can get the decals here for 2.19$. There are four different patterns, I chose 078.

The Water Decals were offered for reviewing purposes. Again, thank you very much, Born Pretty Store!
I never really knew the difference between nail stickers and water decals, but would you say decals are longer lasting?
ReplyDeleteWell, water decals work like the fake tattoo thingies you might have worn as a kid: there's a thin foil over a protective paper, and you have to soak them in water before you can apply them. And stickers, well, they stick ;-)
DeleteFor me, decals work better, are easier to apply and last longer, since they're applied over nail polish, and stickers are applied only over base coat (or even the naked nail). But maybe that's just me.
