Teal is the first color prompt of the "40 Great Nail Art Ideas" challenge, and my first personal pattern prompt is Ikat.
Like the last time I did an ikat mani, I followed this tutorial by MissJenFabulous. As base color I applied two coats of Essence Shopping @Portobello Road (Vintage District LE). For the Ikat pattern I used Catrice It's All I Can Blue, Essie Blanc and P2 Eternal with a small nail art brush. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

DeleteFree hand designs really aren't my strong side either, I prefer staming or other techniques where I don't need a steady hand ;-)
