Todays's polish is Alter Ego Prize Fighter
Prize Fighter is described as "Black base with small metallic turquoise glitter, royal blue metallic stripe glitter and small metallic purple glitter".

While the base looks black, good lighting shows it isn't, it's more of a dark, plum toned brown (or maybe a black with strong brown and plum undertones), like black cherries (you can see it best in the bottle shots). I used three coats for opacity and had no issues with application. Prize Fighter dries, like other Alter Ego Polishes I've shown (Desert Storm Trigger Puller and Naval Navigator) to a matte and somewhat gritty finish.
Of course I shined it up adding one generous coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Das matte Finish find ich scheußlich, aber mit Überlack ist er richtig, richtig schick!
ReplyDeleteIch bin ja eigentlich ein grosser Fan von matten Lacken (heute trage ich auch gerade matt), aber bei dem hier hat es mir auch absolut nicht gefallen. Immerhin hat der Topcoat genützt ;-)
