Ophelia Is Impulsive

To fight the cold, grey november weather, a little pink for today's mani :-)

My base color is a England Ophelia (Gothic Beauties Collection), a blackened base with lots of purple shimmer, that sadly is more prominent in the bottle than on the nails. I tried to capture the purple shimmer in my pictures, but the bad lighting conditions made it nearly impossible. Application was a dream, as it is with (almost) all a England polishes, I used two coats for opacity.

On top of Ophelia I dabbed one coat of Aphrodite Lacquers Impulsive, a clear base with hexes in fuchsia, purple and silver holo, fuchsia dots in two sizes, holographic microglitter, purple and pink shimmer and huge silver and pink holo dots.

I placed the bottle upside down for about half an hour, so even the largest glitters came out willingly, that made application very easy. I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top topcoat for a smooth finish.
