26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Blobbicure

Today's the last prompt of the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas (at least for this round, I sure hope there's going to be another one), and it's blobbicure.

My base color is Dollish Polish Walker Bait 163, a very dark, almost black murky green linear holo with a golden sheen. I used two coats on my accent nails, three on the ones where I'm wearing it on it's own.

For the blobs I used Girly Bits Giggity Giggity Goo, a silver linear holo with pink undertones. I applied it directly with the bottle brush on the fresh second coat of my base. For a blobbicure, you need to work fast and one nail at a time, if the base is only slightly dried, the blobs won't spread. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top gave the mani some extra shine.

Dollish Polish are available at their store. But careful, if you're a geek like me, and tend to buy polishes because they're named after your favorite movie or TV show, this shop is seriously dangerous for your wallet...

Girly Bits polishes are available at her own store, Harlow & Co. and Mei Mei's Signatures.

  1. Lovely blobbicure, Andrea! I really like the colours you chose here.
I don't think the 26GNAI will be re edited, as the participation is very low :(
I will be joining two other challenges in October, "When colours collide" (FB group) proposes a new prompt every two weeks, and only colours, so the theme and technique are free. I also thought to join "Stamping Sisterhood" (FB group) their challenges are planned for the month and I think they have one prompt every four days which obviously I can't keep up with, but I could only choose those which interest me the most.
Will you be joining other challenges?

    1. Thank you Nati!

Too sad the challenge won't continue, but you're right, we were only four or five people posting regularly. I joined the "When colours collide" group, thank you for the tip. I just need nail art challenges to get out of my comfort zone sometimes ;-)
