40 Great Nail Art Ideas: red, yellow and green

As you see in the post title, red, yellow and green are this week's 40 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge colors. My personal pattern prompt is watercolors.

I started with a white base (two coats of P2 So Innocent), then thinned down my color polishes (red: Essence Juicy Love, yellow: Catrice Earnie And Birdie, green: Essence In The Jungle) with acetone and dabbed them on my nails. Then I dabbed a brush dipped in acetone over the lines where the colors meet to blur them even more. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

    1. Thank you Melissa! It didn't turn out quite as I expected, but I like the way it looked in the end :-)

  2. It reminds me ombre design. I wear round nails too and want to do something like this design. How did you do it? I want to do the same one but with some arts ( like http://nailartstyle.com/top-35-round-acrylic-nails ).

    1. I used my clean up brush, a about 2mm wide flat nail art brush, thinned the polishes with acetone and just dabbed them on the white base. Then I dabbed on some more acetone to blur the lines where two colors met, that's all. Really quick and easy :-)
