52 Week Challenge - Paisley / Taupe

After two weeks of only fulfilling one of the challenge themes, this week I'm back with both of them in one mani: paisley and taupe.

My base color is Pahlish El Topo Petit, a muted taupe jelly with orange/red microglitter. The formula is a little thin for my liking, but it was surprisingly opaque. I thought about using just two coats, but in the end I added my usual third one.

For the paisley pattern I used Catrice Mermaid It (Le Grand Bleu Limited Edition) and Bundle Monster plate BM-315. As usual, I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel, at Overall Beauty and at Llarowe.

  1. Oooh gorgeous! The base color alone is pretty amazing but that design really adds the perfect finishing touch to the whole mani.

  2. This is a lovely combination! The shimmer under that golden paisley really gives it so much depth.
