After last week's white base, this week's Golden Oldie Thursday theme's black base. For this I chose a black based glitter polish, KBShimmer Showgirl.
"The lights go down, and the girls come out. Costumes, make-up, flash and flair, a show in Vegas is a sight to be seen. Inspired by those dancers this polish starts with a semi-sheer base of black. Deep enough to cover in two coats, but sheer enough that the glitters can show through. We then add medium sized rose glitter, a small fuchsia, pink holographic glitter, and square sliver glitter. Black holo glitter, black shred and black hex glitters complete this polish."

I used three coats and added two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for a smooth finish.

A really gorgeous glitter!!! Time to undig mine - though I believe I have worn that already - anyhoo it is really time to get it back onto my nails sometime soon :-)
ReplyDeleteI think if I'd stop buying polishes right now (you know I couldn't do that, but IF), I think I could polish my nails every day for at least two years with polishes I haven't worn yet or want to wear again ;-)
DeleteIch hab mir neulich seit Jahren mal wieder einen schwarzen Nagellack gekauft. Muss man einfach besitzen, allein der Überlacke wegen!
ReplyDeleteDas sehe ich auch so, wenn man auch mal etwas anderes als einfarbige Nägel tragen möchte, ist ein schwarzer Cremelack einfach ein Muss.
