If mine isn't the only nail blog you're reading, I'm pretty sure you've already seen pictures of the new Picture Polish limited edition multichrome shades. Of course I had to get some of them, and here's my first mani, using Illusionist.
Illusionist is a sheer scattered holo multichrome that can only be used as topcoat (I guess it would take at lest five or six coats to get it opaque, if it's even possible). Illusionist shifts from a mossy green over teal, blue and purple to an almost orange red, and was very camera-shy, I didn't really get to capture all it's facettes. You just have to believe me, all the colors are visible irl. I used two coats over black (a England Camelot).
I used MoYou London Suki Collection plate 05 and a England Camelot to "spice it up" with a stamped star pattern. One coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer secured the stmaping.

Picture Polish are available at Llarowe, Harlow & Co.. Overall Beauty, Pshiiit and their own shop (plus many more, here's a list of additional retailers). I got mine directly from Picture Polish in Australia.
Beautiful stamping!!! As you know (;-P) I got the whole set too and I found them so sheer that I like them best over a matching base color - for Illusionist f.e. A dark teal and so on. I was quite stunned by the difference

DeleteLove! It looks great on you, and you captured its beauty perfectly. This is the only one I got from their multichrome collection, kind of bummed that it has to be layered!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, but then: one coat of black and one (or two) coats of the multichrome, that's still ok, considering other multichromes (like ILNP, Enchanted Polish or KBShimmer) need three coats for opacity, too.

ReplyDeleteVielen Dank. Mittlerweile haben ja viele Indie-Marken changierende Lacke im Sortiment, und die Drogerie-Marken wie Essence oder Catrice versuchen sich auch darin. Die Zeichen stehen daher gut für "Chamäleon-Liebhaber" :-)
