An Ostentation Of Peacocks

After yesterdays "back to the old days" polishes, a newer one for today (but still a couple of months old, I have to admit): Smitten Polish An Ostentation Of Peacocks.

An Ostentation Of Peacocks has a slightly teal toned jelly base (my pictures aren't 100% color accurate, the polish is slightly more green leaning than my pictures show) filled with silver hexes, blue and green squares, blue circles and microglitter. The jelly base was surprisinglywell pigmented, it was more or less opaque after two coats (I still used a third, just to be sure). I had no issues with application and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for a smooth and glossy finish.

Smitten Polish are sold on Etsy. There hasn't been a listing of An Ostentation Of Peacocks for a while now though, so I guess this one's discontinued.

  1. Holy peacock!!! It's gorgeous. I have to admit I neglected Smitten Polish since a while now - I tend to forget what awesome glitters they've got!!!

    1. You want to try more new brand this year, and you want to return to almost forgotten ones - I guess, your stash will grow enormously this year, too ;-)
