OVbunEn Elephant Shoe

Today's combo wasn't really my idea, but is was suggested by the polish maker herself, Girly Bit's Pam.

As base color I used Girly Bits Elephant Shoe, a light grey creme. Application was easy, I used three thin coats for opacity, but if you use a little thicker coats, two probably will be enough.

On top of Elephant Shoe I dabbed one coat of Girly Bits OVbunEn. "OVbunEN (aka "Bun in the Oven") is a clear-based glitter bomb filled with soft baby-colour inspired glitters in light blue, matte pink, yellow and green."

Next to the mentioned pastel glitters, there are also tiny holographic glitters plus iridecent bars, that are practically invisible most of the time (sometimes the look somewhat pee-yellow), but flash indigo blue when the light hits them just at the right angle.

I had no issues with application, all the glitters spread easily and the clear base was neither too thin nor too thick. For a smooth finish I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

  1. What a delicate combination! I like the new Girly Bits creams - I think this is a great idea to offer those as suggestion for base colors for their glitters!! Have a great Monday :-)

    1. At first, I wasn't really into indie cremes, as I already own a lot of cremes from drugstore brands. But I've really come to like them :-)
I wish you a great start in the week, too <3
