Monet's Garden

As I already mentioned before, Claude Monet's one of my favorite painters. Of course I had to get this polish called Monet's Garden by Emily de Molly.

Monet's Garden has a slightly teal-leaning green jelly base filled with lots of multiple sized hex glitters in various shades of green, red and purple. There are also some green holographic hexes plus gold microglitter. I couldn't really capture it, but Monet's Garden is really sparkly irl. The name is perfect in my eyes, especially in the macro shots Monet's Garden looks like a pond with water lilys.

Formula was great, I used three coats for opacity and had no issues with application, all glitters came out of the bottle willingly and spread easily. For a smooth finish I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.

  1. You know how much I love this polish and Claude Monet's artwork. You really rock this polish and I think you choose the perfect time to wear it - nothing to cheer-up a dreary Monday like one of those sparkly sunlight filled Emily de Molly's - have a great start of the week :-)

    1. Yes, in my eyes, EdM used the perfect amount of pigments with this one, opaque enough so you can wear it alone, but still so sheer you can see all the glitterr through all layers...

  4. I love this polish. This is one of those examples of the name of a polish fitting the look perfectly. <3 The Impressionists weren't my favorite art school, but this polish is quite another story. :)

Lackierst du eine Pell off base darunter?
