April Showers

The polishes of this mani were sold as a duo, so they were really meant to be worn together ;-)





My base color is Through Still And Storm, a "slate blue cream base with electric blue shimmer and charcoal flecks"

I used three coats for opacity. Formula was a little on the thick side, but still manageable to work with. 





On my ring finger and thumb I added one coat of Ocean Gone Wrong, a "clear glitter topped with navy, gunmetal, and bright blue glitter including blue dots!"

Application was easy, I mixed dabbing and wiping, and all the glitters spread easily. Ocean Gone Wrong dried pretty smooth, I finished with one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer. 


I originally intended to add the glitter to all my nails, but I really liked Through Still And Storm, so I decided not to cover it up entirely.
