Fomalhaut
Hmmm... third Darling Diva Polish on my blog in less than a week. I hope you don't get bored :-)
Today's darling Diva Polish is called Fomaulhaut and was part of last year's Halloween collection.
"Fomalhaut- The guiding star for the Guardian of the Watchtower of the North. Primary Element of Earth.
Sarah, the natural witch, was drawn to this watchtower. The color scheme behind this polish is the true Wiccan colors for this watchtower.
This is a black jelly polish with color shifting green to blue iridescent glitters. These glitters appear lit from within in low light."
(Source: Darling Diva Polish)
As you can see in the bottle shot, the iridescent glitters not only shift from green to blue, but from a coppery orange over green and blue to a purple-y indigo. Application was a perfect, I used one coat over a black creme (a England Camelot), as the black jelly base is very sheer. Fomalhaut dried pretty smooth, so I added only one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.
Fomalhaut was part of a limited edition and is no longer available. Other Darling Diva Polishes can be found on Etsy, at Mei Mei Signatures and at Llarowe.
Oh my I am SOOOOO glad it is not available anymore - you would have easily tempted me to head over to Darling Diva's Etsy shop right away and order it. I am really into them too - so I really enjoy to see the third Darling Diva :-) - beautiful - swoon.............
ReplyDeleteSome day, in the far far future, I'll have my untrieds reduced to a number where I'll be able to show all newbies in a matter of weeks. Then every polish I show will still be available, and you'll have to buy them all *evil laughter* ;-)
DeleteOh it's gorgeous! I have said it before, I really love glitter with a black basis.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm absolutely into black jelly base glitter, too :-)
DeleteBored? BORED?? Look at that stuff!! Good grief...it looks like an psychedelic fish or something! How beautiful!! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're not bored, thank you for your nice words :-)
