Madly Purpled Cheshire

Today's a purple day :-)

I started with three coats of Essence Madly Purpled (Floral Grunge Limited Edition), a warm toned, slightly smoky purple, almost mauve. As you can see, it contains a sublte silver shimmer and dries matte.

Then I dabbed one coat of Crows Toes Cheshire on top of Madly Purpled. Cheshire is of course named after the purple striped Cheshire Cat in Disney's version of Alice in Wonderland and contains "a combination of purple, magenta, & chartreuse glitters in a clear base, combined with a little crazy cat magic just for good measure. :)"

As with all Crows Toes polishes, application was a breeze, no fishing for glitters needed. I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast for a glassy smooth finish.

Crows Toes polishes are available at Llarowe and Overall Beauty.

  1. So beautiful - seeing the title I of course immediately recognized what glitter you would show us and since I own it as well, I was most curious!!! I need to follow suit and try it over a light base - I so far wore it only over e dark purple ;-)

    1. It's a gorgeous glitter and it looks awesome over dark and light purple. I'm glad you like my combo :-)
