Disciplined Watson

Today I have two more indie polishes to show you: Cult Nails Disciplined and Girly Bits Ornamental My Dear Watson.

My base color is Cult Nails Disciplined (Behind the Curtains Collection), „a sheer but buildable soft grey with purple, pink and blue shimmer.“

The shimmer is really gorgeous, but I wasn’t really able to capture it. Even if it doesn’t look like it on my pictures, the shimmer is visible on the nails IRL. I used four coats, because Disciplined is really sheer.

On top of Disciplined I dabbed one coat of Girly Bits Ornamental My Dear Watson (Seasons of Sparkle Collection), „a clear based glitterbomb, that includes every color you might see on your tree.“

I would have bought this one simply based on it’s name. I love Sherlock Holmes ever since I first read the books as a kid. Twenty years later I can hardly wait for the third season of BBC’s Sherlock. And I live only one hour away from the Reichenbach Falls, where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wanted Holmes to die (didn’t count on all the Holmes fans, though).

Besides the name, Ornamental My Dear Watson is a really lovely polish in very „happy“ colors like fuchsia, blue, yellow, gold, silver, baby blue and baby pink, purple and lilac in different sized hexes and squares. Application was easy, there was a lot of glitter on it every time I pulled the brush out of the bottle.

I topped this mani with one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
